A Kuwaiti woman filed a case against her husband, accusing him of kicking her out of their house after 45 years of marriage. She explained that her husband kicked her out of their house on one of the days of the Holy Month of Ramadan and told her that he has divorced her and does not want to be married to her.
Their two sons watched their father do this to her and kept quiet, choosing not to stop their father. The woman said she had contributed financially to the construction of the house but her husband registered the house under only his name. She demanded her share of the house, adding that she wanted to stay in the house until the end of Ramadan.
In a press release, the legal counsel of the woman Lawyer Hawra Al-Habib said, “There are some cases that cannot be explained because they are very tragic. This is one such case, as no humanity has been shown to this woman by her husband even though they have been married for 45 years”.
