First baby delivered at Muscat International Airport

Indonesian citizen has become the first woman to give birth to a baby at the Muscat International Airport, reported TimesofOman..

The baby boy, who was named Faiz Adam, was born at 6.30 am on Saturday.

 

The pregnant woman was flying from Jeddah to Kuala Lumpur on a Saudi Airline, Flight No. SV836, that was forced to make an emergency landing at the Muscat International Airport.

As soon as officials received information from the Air Traffic Control Tower, medical staff at the airport waited for the arrival of the aircraft to receive the passenger safely.

Both mother and child were later transferred to the Royal Hospital for treatment.
