His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Saturday exchanged greetings with a number of leaders of sisterly Arab countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

They include Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Iraqi President Dr Barham Salih, Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas and Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.

The Amir also exchanged cables of greetings with leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries on the advent of the blessed Eid al-Adha.

The Amir also received cables of greetings on the occasion from a number of leaders of friendly countries. 

Meanwhile, the Amir has received a cable from HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud containing his greetings and greetings of members of the Council on the occasion of advent of Eid al-Adha.

The Amir responded with a reply cable of thanks.

His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al -Thani too has exchanged cables of greetings with Crown Princes and Vice Presidents of the sisterly Arab and Islamic countries.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani too has exchanged cables of greetings with heads of government of the sisterly Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
