Qatar succeeded at managing Gulf crisis, say experts

Dr Hassan Rashid al-Derham had initiated the Third Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference and featured the significance of the gathering to unite scholastic comprehension of political, monetary and social parts of the present Gulf crisis, so as to create systems that assistance to comprehend their starting points, implications and prospects as a crisis that exceeded all expectations.

 

He added that the conference comes in conjunction with many regional and international developments including the Summit of the GCC Supreme Council. 

Dr Mahjoob Zweiri, director, Gulf Studies Centre, said the conference comes as part of the centre’s focus on interactive issues in the Gulf regions and is part of many events that documents the reactions of the Gulf crisis. 

He included that the middle's vision is to create and elevate QU's goal to develop academic researches in Qatar and the locales, through delivering the scholarly community that mirrors the historical backdrop of the GCC crisis which is a transitive emergency in its different dimensions

The meeting unites researchers, strategy creators and students from an extensive variety of controls to participate in a two-day gathering.

The meeting has additionally welcomed Munich Security Conference (MSC) chairman Wolfgang Ischinger will's identity giving a discourse on the European Role in Regional Security of the Gulf toward the evening of the primary day of the conference. (QNA)
