Qatar's role in the international fight against COVID-19

Doha: Following the outbreak of COVID-19, Qatar has increased its international aid and support in many ways. 

“The State of Qatar spares no effort when working with the international community to combat the global spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19),” Qatar's Government Communications Office (GCO) tweeted.

GCO also listed some of Qatar’s actions in support of international community’s effort to fight the spread of COVID-19.

His Highness the Amir directed 13 tonnes of medical equipment and supplies in aid to Iran.
His Highness the Amir directed $150 million of financial support to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which will help the people within the Strip combat the spread of COVID-19.

His Highness the Amir directed 260 tonnes of medical aid to Italy, including two field hospitals.
