Shah Rukh Khan's UNIFYD Abu Dhabi Festival Adds Sonu Nigam And Jonita To Line-Up

Over 15 Artists Set For Yas Island Debut

UNIFYD, the massive new music festival curated by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has added more than a dozen celebrated performers to its inaugural Abu Dhabi bill. Scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island, the one-day extravaganza had already announced chart-topping headliners Arijit Singh and Karan Aujla. Now, veteran playback legend Sonu Nigam will join the festival for a special live set—marking his first-ever appearance at a multi-stage music festival. Organizers also confirmed that vocalists Jonita Gandhi, Shalmali Kholgade, Simran Choudhary, and Priyanka will take the stage in the UAE capital. The diverse line-up further includes Patiala Mehfil, Nooriyah, Curtain Blue, Tech Panda x Kenzani, Rusha & Blizza, Stick No Bills, BOH!B, and Unnayanaa, bringing more than 15 acts across multiple stages.

A New Cultural Platform Co-Founded By Khan

The festival marks an exciting creative venture for Shah Rukh Khan after more than three decades dominating global cinema screens. "I've spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power," Khan said, noting that UNIFYD will unite India's most dynamic musical voices on a shared festival stage for the first time. D'YAVOL Live and District are producing the event in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Miral, and Emirates NBD. D'YAVOL Live operates under the D'YAVOL Luxury Collective, which Khan co-founded alongside his son Aryan Khan, Leti Blagoeva, and Bunty Singh. Singh added that Indian music is already a global force and deserves a world-class festival platform matching its scale, with plans to take UNIFYD to other international cities after its Abu Dhabi premiere.
