Spouses of 10 long-serving expats to visit Qatar on an all-expense paid trip

Spouses of 10 expat workers in Qatar who have been in the country for 15 years or more will be visiting the country tomorrow for a five-day visit.

As part of a campaign launched by Radio 98.6 FM, a Malayalam channel, the partners will be on an all-expenses covered visit.

As part of the 'Me and my partner, for love' campaign, a warm reception has been planned at the Hamad Airport.

All the chosen members are those who have been unable to bring their families to Qatar during their long years of service due to financial problems.  Some of them have been away from families for years and are working into their old age due to financial liabilities back home.

Radio host Jibin May will bring the spouses to Doha from Cochin International Airport.

Sponsored by Cosmo Travels, Sky Jewellery, and Imalco, Radio Malayalam will provide the opportunity to travel around Qatar, including accommodation and food along with their partners from May 9 to May 12.

Apart from being part of the activities planned by the channel, the couples will also be taking part in various programmes planned by expatriate communities in Doha.

Saidalavi (Wayanad), Mohammedkutty (Bepoor), Haiderali (Thrithala), Shija Jose (Guruvayoor), Sharafudeen (Varkala), Muhammed (Kuttikattur), Alikutty (Chettuva), Savior (Paravoor), Akbhar (Kuthuparamba), Basheer (Mananthavadi) are the 10 selected ones whose spouses will be coming to Qatar.
