Kiki challenge female dancer arrested in Saudi

Over the weekend, authorities in Saudi Arabia arrested a woman for posting a video of her dancing to the tune of Drake's 'In My Feelings'.

The arrest was made hours after she posted a video of her participating in the Kiki challenge. Many took to Twitter to criticize her for dancing in public and wearing an explicit outfit, according to Stepfeed.

The woman might face up to three months in jail.

According to Akhbaar24, the woman will be charged for breaking traffic rules, wearing explicit clothes and dancing in public.

In the UAE, officials have warned that a fine of Dh2,000 and 23 black traffic points shall be slapped on any motorist caught doing the dance.

Further, the vehicle involved in the grave traffic violation shall be impounded for 60 days.

It poses a grave risk, not only to the dancing driver, but also to all road users, according to Col Saeed Obaid bin Aran, director of traffic and patrols department at the UAQ police.
