The price war in the Indian telecom sector started by the entry of Reliance Jio has now pushed Airtel into offering 60GB of free data.
Under this offer, available only to postpaid users, Airtel is giving 10GB of free data per month over a period of six months.

Airtel is looking to popularize its Airtel TV app
The offer is essentially a top-up of Airtel's Monsoon Offer which was offering 30GB of free data over three months. It is also a push by Airtel to popularize its Airtel TV app.
How to avail the offer
To avail the offer, users have to download the Airtel TV app on their smartphones.
Once downloaded, users have to open the app and click the banner ad in the app to avail the free data.
Reportedly, once users follow the instructions, the data is credited to a user's account within a day.
