What is HDMUN II?
HDMUN is a student-run conference that emulates the way in which the UN deliberates. Participants will assume the role of diplomats, debating in nine separate committees on the most pressing global issues — ranging from international peace and security to economic development and human rights.
This is not your standard competitive debate tournament; it is a development student conference in Dubai with the purpose of providing young professionals with the time and space to collaboratively build key academic skills – teamwork, critical thinking, research, public speaking, and negotiation – all in a comfortable atmosphere.
