Dubai ruler HH Sheikh Mohammed orders release of 625 prisoners

The UAE will be celebrating its 47th National Day on December 2. 

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday ordered the release of 625 prisoners from Dubai's prisons on the occasion of the 47th UAE National Day, according to KhaleejTimes.

 

The declaration comes multi day after he President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has requested the arrival of 785 detainees. 

The arrival of detainees, and the repayment of their obligations and fines, mirrors the President's perception to allow them another shot for another life and to alleviate their families hardships. 

A two-day occasion has been declared in the nation for both general society and private areas.
