Seamless Travel Across The Emirates

Etihad Rail passengers travelling to Dubai received excellent news today. They can now add a Nol One-Day Pass directly to their train booking. This allows them to continue their journey on the Dubai Metro seamlessly. They can access the Tram and RTA buses using the exact same QR code.  The new option makes onward travel much easier for arriving passengers. Etihad Rail's new Al Yalayis Station connects to the Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station. A dedicated pedestrian footbridge links the two massive transit hubs together. Passengers choose between a Regular or Gold Nol One-Day Pass during booking. 

Understanding Pass Validity

The pass covers eligible journeys on the Metro Red and Green lines. It also includes the Dubai Tram and RTA public buses within applicable zones. The Nol One-Day Pass QR code remains valid for up to 90 days. You do not have to use the pass on the same day as your train journey.  You can activate it at any point within 90 days of the original purchase. The Regular pass costs Dh22, while the Gold pass costs Dh42 per passenger. Intercity and seasonal buses are explicitly excluded from this specific daily pass. Passengers add the pass while booking their train journey online. 

Simplifying The Booking Process

Simply select your journey and navigate to the ‘End-to-End Journey Options’ screen. Choose the desired pass and complete the final payment process securely. Passengers will receive one single QR code covering both the train and local transit. The QR code appears in the app and the confirmation email.  Keep the QR code accessible on your phone throughout your entire journey. Staff may ask you to scan or present it at various checkpoints.
