Etihad Rail’s new Dubai passenger station is scheduled to open very soon. The official launch date is set for September 30. This gives busy travelers a brand new rail connection between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The operator confirmed the opening dates for both Dubai and Al Dhaid stations.

This marks the exciting next phase of the UAE national passenger network. The new Dubai stop is officially named Al Yalayis Station. It sits conveniently in the Jumeirah Golf Estates area. You can find it right near the busy Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.

The train adds another fantastic option for regular intercity journeys.

It will primarily serve passengers traveling between Dubai and Mohamed bin Zayed City. A recent newspaper report briefly listed a Comfort ticket starting from Dh39. They also noted Premium tickets starting from Dh109 per person. However, that specific booking option disappeared from the website shortly after.

Passengers should not treat those reported prices as currently confirmed offers. Fares may vary when the official booking system fully launches. Etihad Rail previously began an introductory passenger service in June. That initial route connected Abu Dhabi directly to Fujairah.

This addition gives residents a relaxing alternative to driving on highways.
