Indian Prime Minister Modi Begins UAE Visit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United Arab Emirates on Friday. He wants to advance the comprehensive strategic partnership between both nations. He will meet UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Focus on Energy and Diaspora

The leaders will discuss energy cooperation and bilateral trade. The UAE remains India’s third largest trade partner today. Officials plan to sign important agreements regarding strategic petroleum reserves.

Over four million Indian expatriates currently live in the UAE. Modi will discuss their welfare during this important diplomatic trip. He aims to strengthen the deep cultural and economic links.

European Tour Follows

The Prime Minister will embark on a larger European tour next. He will travel to the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy.

Modi will hold bilateral talks with European leaders to boost trade. He will also address a pan-European business forum alongside the European Commission President.
