Indian woman killed in UAE road accident

Indian woman - 25-yr-old,named Divya Praveen, succumbed to wounds she got in a accident in Ras Al Khaimah, reported Khaleej Times.

Prasad Sreedharan, a social worker affiliated to the Consulate General of India (CGI) in Dubai, revealed to Khaleej Times that the accident occurred at Khiran region at an opportune time Sunday morning. 

 

Sources with the RAK Police revealed to Khaleej Times that the focal activities room in a flash dispatched traffic watches, an emergency vehicle, paramedics and the protect groups to the site when alarmed about the episode. 

"Beginning enactment of the accident showed that the woman's husband, who was driving the car had dozed off, lost control over the steering wheel and rammed into a lamppost on the roadside."

"Unfortunately, a young Indian woman from Kerala, died on the way to the hospital due to the impact of the collision with a lamppost at the Khiran area."

Indian Relief Committee President Dr Nisham Noorudheen, said Divya's better half Praveen P.A. what's more, their two-year-old child Daksh, who was situated in a youngster situate at the back, were sufficiently fortunate to have a near disaster from the accident. 

"The trio was making a trip back to Ras Al Khaimah in the wake of going to a festival in Sharjah, said Pushpan Govindan, a social specialist with Indian Relief Committee in Ras Al Khaimah."
