Providing Greater Travel Flexibility
Planning a trip to Dubai just got slightly more flexible for eligible airline passengers. Flag carrier Philippine Airlines is offering travelers the option to change their flight dates freely. They can make one change without paying the standard, expensive airline rebooking fee. This gives passengers much more flexibility if their work schedules or personal plans change suddenly. The generous offer applies to eligible bookings on PAL flights from Manila to Dubai. It also covers direct flights departing from Manila to Doha and Riyadh. Passengers must submit their date change request at least 15 days before their scheduled departure. This free rebooking offer remains available to customers until November 15, 2026.
Understanding The Fare Conditions
The offer strictly covers one single flight-date change per eligible customer booking. Travelers may still have to pay any applicable fare difference between the two chosen dates. Standard ticket validity rules and other airline conditions may also apply to the booking. The offer coincides with PAL resuming its highly anticipated nonstop Manila to Dubai service. These direct flights resumed on October 2, operating four times a week currently. Passengers can fly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday between the two cities. The free rebooking offer does not apply to every single PAL ticket sold. Tickets purchased during major promotional fare and seat sale campaigns are explicitly excluded.
Supporting The Expat Workforce
Travelers must check their individual fare conditions carefully before requesting a formal change. Travel plans often change for Filipinos working in the UAE due to shifting work schedules. Securing leave approvals or managing personal commitments back home requires flexible travel options. "PAL continues to connect people and the Philippines to the world," the carrier stated.
