UAE Residents Get New St. Kitts Biometric Passports

Citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis living in the UAE get a huge advantage today. The Federation launched a new mandatory biometric passport program. UAE residents can book appointments at local collection centers directly.

Modernizing Travel Documents

Applicants no longer need to travel internationally to complete their enrollment. The new chip-enabled passport includes fingerprints and a facial scan. The government embeds your digital signature directly into the secure document.

This massive upgrade matches strict European and American security standards. Officials capture your biometric data just once for your lifetime. You never need to re-enroll during future renewal stages.

Fees and Firm Deadlines

The quick appointment only takes 15 to 30 minutes to complete. The program costs 2,500 dollars for the first adult applicant. Families pay 2,000 dollars for a second adult and 1,300 dollars per child.

The government set a firm completion deadline for July 31, 2027. Officials will deactivate any older passports starting August 1, 2027. Citizens cannot travel using deactivated documents under any circumstances.

Strict Data Protection

The government transmits all biometric information directly to its own secure systems. Local service providers act purely as administrative facilitators during appointments. These local agents cannot store or use your data for other purposes.

Officials strongly encourage early booking to avoid upcoming appointment constraints. You should contact your original authorized agent to schedule a slot.
