RAK Police Answer Over 20,000 Emergency Calls During UAE Floods

Ras Al Khaimah Police successfully handled 20,939 calls during the recent severe weather. Heavy rains and flash floods battered the UAE late this March.

This massive emergency response highlights the impressive readiness of local authorities. Rapid police action protected local residents and minimized property damage across the emirate.

Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al Mansoori directs the Central Operations division. He praised his dedicated officers for their highly efficient work.

Brigadier Al Mansoori confirmed his team answered all calls within 10 seconds. He emphasized that protecting human life always remains their top priority.

Specialized teams inside the operations room directed calls to the correct authorities. They tracked every single case until emergency crews resolved the issue.

Coordinated Emergency Response

The police force worked closely with strategic partners. They cleared flooded roads and restored normal traffic flow quickly. Officers acted like a busy beehive operating around the clock.

Brigadier Al Mansoori also thanked the general public for their excellent cooperation. Residents closely followed official safety guidelines and helped emergency teams succeed.

Essential Emergency Contacts

Authorities continue to urge the public to use appropriate emergency numbers. Citizens must dial 999 for true emergencies and 901 for general inquiries. This system helps dispatchers send the right rescue teams quickly.
