The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced petrol and diesel prices for August 2026, with all major fuel categories recording increases compared with July. The new rates will take effect from August 1, 2026.

The increase means Super 98, Special 95 and E-Plus 91 petrol will each rise by 20 fils per litre, while diesel will also increase by 20 fils per litre compared with July.
Prices Take Effect August 1
The new rates will apply across the UAE from Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The monthly fuel pricing system allows pump prices to be adjusted in line with movements in international energy markets. The latest increase follows fluctuations in global oil prices and comes after fuel prices declined in July.
What UAE Drivers Need to Know
For motorists, the 20-fils-per-litre increase will mean a higher cost when filling up from August.
The exact impact on each driver will depend on vehicle tank capacity and the amount of fuel purchased. Drivers with larger tanks will see a bigger increase per full refill.
The revised prices apply to Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91 and diesel, covering the main fuel categories used by motorists and commercial vehicles across the country.
The new UAE fuel prices will remain in effect throughout August, unless the Fuel Price Committee announces otherwise under the country’s monthly pricing mechanism.
