Boss Who Repeatedly Molested His Subordinate In Office Finally Gets Caught Because Of A Selfie

Rakesh (representative name) had his wife, Geeta’s (representative name) phone in his hand when he received a picture of her with another man with him holding her from behind. Bemused, he asked her about it. It was then that she was finally able to break her silence.

She would go to office daily, vulnerable and feeling the mental pressure but she thought she had no escape. Her ordeal? Her boss, Hanumantharaya.

Hanumantharaya not only harassed Geeta but also pressurized her continually. The 25-year-old woman, who works at a textile company, was sexually harassed, stalked and asked for sexual favours by her boss who would just not relent.

How did her get her to remain quiet?

Hanumantharaya threatened Geeta’s life. He had threatened to kill her should she tell anyone about the incessant harassment she was facing at her workplace. He would follow her to her house and ask her for sexual favours, thinking all this pressure would force her to give in.

How did the photo pop-up?

Courtesy of the unabashed, obstinate boss, Hanumantharaya. When he had once grabbed her from behind, he went to the extent of taking a selfie of the horrible act he was committing. He then sent the picture to Geeta which was received by her husband, Rakesh.

What made him get caught?

Again, courtesy of the unabashed boss, Hanumantharaya. After Rakesh had found out about the horrific things his wife had been facing at her workplace, he decided to get him booked. As was Hanumantharaya’s ‘routine’, he followed Geeta to her house after work on Sunday. He was then met with the infuriated Rakesh who, along with Geeta, took him to the Kamakshipalya Police Station, in the early hours of Monday.

Hanumantharaya has now been booked under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC.
