A Houston mother says a man in an H-Mart tried to grab her baby out of the shopping cart.
Surveillance video at the H-Mart on Bellaire Blvd. captured the moment Florence Monauer briefly turned her back to her child.
That was long enough for a stranger to walk by and pick her baby up out of the shopping cart.
“I thought he was just an over-friendly guy and maybe he didn't understand what was appropriate and what wasn't,” Ms Monauer wrote.
“I didn't want to make a big scene out of it, and I generally don't want to assume that people are up to no good.
“The more I thought about it, the more wrong it appeared. Please be on the look out for this guy.”
The man is described as being about 6’1” and aged in his 50s.
