Restaurant offers QR37,000 salary, free travel to sample BBQ food

The selected candidate will travel and stay for free and will also be allowed to have one guest.

Reynolds Wrap, an aluminum foil maker company,  is looking for a 'chief grilling officer' to travel across the US to taste test BBQ ribs. The ideal candidate will get $10,000 (QR37,000 approx) for the two-week work offer that will start in August.

One lucky American BBQ lover will be selected to help the company find the country's best BBQ ribs by making road trips and thereby capturing photos and grilling techniques and posting them on the company's website and social media channels.

Describing the work duties, Reynolds said in a statement on its website: 'Along the way, you'll share tips, grilling techniques and photos on the Reynolds Kitchens® website and social channels, so grilling enthusiasts at home can make drool-worthy BBQ ribs on their own'.

Besides getting $10,000 for two-week offer, Reynolds said the selected candidate will travel and stay for free and will also be allowed to have one guest along to accompany the taste tester, according to Daily Mail. The 'savory' offer has been inundated with plenty of inquiries on social media. 'Hey @ReynoldsWrap I was made for this job. I sweat BBQ sauce every #Faturday', wrote one Twitter user.

The requisite for the two-week job is that applicants must email a photo of themselves grilling along with a 100 word essay about why they are the ideal candidate to [email protected].
