Russia Shoots Down 151 Ukrainian Drones Overnight

Russia just announced a major defensive operation. Operational air defense systems shot down exactly 151 Ukrainian drones overnight.

Heavy Drone Activity Across Regions

The Russian Defense Ministry released an official statement today. They confirmed the successful interception of these incoming drones.

Defenses destroyed 57 drones over the Volgograd region. They also stopped 48 drones over the Rostov region. Another 35 drones fell over the Belgorod region.

Additional Interceptions

The military reported several other successful interceptions. Air defenses shot down nine drones over the Caspian Sea.

They destroyed one drone over the Republic of Kalmykia. Finally, they stopped one more drone over Tambov province.

Ongoing Conflict Updates

Both Russia and Ukraine issue near-daily battle reports. This regular reporting started when the war began in February 2022.

However, independent groups struggle to verify these official claims. The chaotic fighting conditions make accurate damage assessments very difficult.
