This is What Kris Aquino Wants To Tell All Celebrity Drug Users!

Kris Aquino has a warning for all celebrity drug users who are still not scared of being arrested amid the government's intensified war against drugs: surrender before it's too late.

"Naiintindihan ko na for us to talk about this drug menace ay kailangan celebrity ang pagusapan kasi bibigyan mo ng 10 to 15 minutes sa news dahil kilala iyong taong involved," she told reporters.

She made American actor Robert Downey Jr. an example, whose story of redemption from drug addiction to being one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood.

Kris argued that it is never too late for anyone to turn their back on illegal substances.

"Bakit sa America, si Robert Downey Jr. nakulong, na-rehab, And then naging 'Iron Man' pa siya," she reasoned. "So parang, ako, pinagdadasal ko: Number one, if you're still into it, matuto ka na. Stop it! Voluntarily dalhin mo na sarili mo sa rehab."

"Kung ayaw mo dito, mag-abroad ka, linisin mo ang sarili mo. It begins with you. Kasi gusto mo bang mamatay?"

"Secondly, doon sa mga [nahuli] ngayon, unang una: own up to it. Nangyari eh. And I think sa America kaya sila nakaka-recover eh kasi ino-own nila. And they do something about it. And thank you Lord na natututo sila. And sana mangyari din ito sa atin."

Since President Duterte launched his war against illegal drugs, a number of celebrities such as radio DJ Karen Borbador, former matinee idol Mark Anthony Fernandez, ex-sexy actresses Sabrina Mand Krista Miller have been arrested.
