While the entire world is standstill due to coronavirus, a certain "Corona'' in Kerala is loved by the people staying there. Kerala's Muvattupuzha town is the place where it is the center of attraction for the people.
Corona is basically a textile shop located 40 kms away from the state capital and is owned by Pareed. For many years now the shop has been famously known as 'Corona Pareed'. The textile shop also sells cloth materials and also has a stitching unit.
"Now, I am a sought after person here. While many want to take a selfie, others just smile, when they look at me. I see many people travelling in vehicles and when they pass through in front of my shop, they pop their head out and take a glance," said Pareed.
Pareed also spoke about what prompted him to keep such a unique name for his shop. He said he found the word in the dictionary and instantly liked it and named his shop the same.
Pareed is aware of the coronavirus scare which has spread all across the globe and like a responsible citizen has even kept a hand-sanitizer just outside the shop to allow the customers use it and get into his shop.
Kerala was the first state which confirmed COVID-19 in India. Slowly other Indian states also got affected by the same. So far 276 coronavirus cases have been found in India as per Coronavirus.
Schools colleges and offices in the country have been asked to shut down as per government directives. The sudden emergency has also affected revenues on a big scale as the government has put a hold on everything.
The entire world also is in a state of emergency and is taking all the possible preventive mesures against Coronavirus which was termed as ''pandemic'' by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
