Ramadan is a month in which Muslims seek supplications from God while performing the act of fasting. The month of Ramadan is expected to start on May 17, 2018. The first day will be Thursday and the Fajr timespan will revolve around 0310 and 0301 while the Maghrib time will revolve around 0613 and 0625.

Nowadays, with the use of technology, mobile apps are used instead of Hijri calendars. So, it is easy to understand the timing of fasts and a proper schedule for Ramadan in Qatar can easily be managed using mobile apps or calendars as well.

Tradition Behind Ramadan.

In Qatar, all Muslims wake up almost 3 hours before the sunrise for a pre-dawn meal and breaks their fasts according to the teachings of Quran in evening after sunset. The whole day is spent in doing work under some harsh circumstances.

Many businesses get affected in a positive way during the month of Ramadan. The opening time for banks, schools, and other shops are changed so that the fast can be managed with ease. Many restaurants are closed in the daytime and all the food streets are opened just before sunset and remain open late-night. Especially on the 14th of Ramadan, each Qatari child dresses up traditionally and sing Garangao which a Middle East Feast.
