Qatar Airways was awarded as the Best Business Class and Best Middle Eastern Airline at the 2016 Business Traveller Awards which was held in London recently.
The airline’s renowned high-quality service was once again recognised as it received the two prestigious awards, presented by British author and broadcaster Ben Fogle.

Premium passengers have access to a range of luxury lounges such as the Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business Lounge in Doha, Heathrow Premium Lounge and DXB Premium Lounge in Dubai, all of which offer a selection of fine dining options and world-class facilities. 
The Best Airline Alliance was also presented to Oneworld, which Qatar Airways has been a member of since 2013. Qatar Airways recently accepted three separate accolades at the 2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards held at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom. Air travellers chose Qatar Airways as the World’s Best Business Class, Best Business Class Airline Lounge and the Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East. The consumer-voted awards recognised the airline for its commitment to offering passengers an unrivalled travelling experience.
The airline has launched routes to Los Angeles (USA), Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), Sydney (Australia), Boston (USA), Birmingham (UK), Adelaide (Australia), Yerevan (Armenia), Atlanta (USA), Marrakech (Morocco), Pisa (Italy), Windhoek (Namibia).Service to Helsinki (Finland) starts 10 October, with Krabi (Thailand) and Seychelles will follow later in the year.
