Reports of an earthquake which just hit areas of northern India have been filtering in on social media on Sunday afternoon.
India's Metereological Department issued a tweet on the incident, stating that it occurred at 3:37 Indian Standard Time, with epicenter at a Latitude of 28.9N and Longitude of 77.0E.
The depth was 5km, and the region precisely affected was Sonipat, Haryana.

The magnitude of the quake appears to be a 4 on the Richter Scale.

According to a tweet by the Times of India, "mild tremors" in the areas of Delhi-NCR and Haryana, Uttar Pradesh" have been identified.
