Almora: Shopkeeper Received Imported Chinese Shoes In Tricolor Boxes

The Doklam stand-off has stiffened quite rapidly in the recent times with constant mocking and internet humiliation from China towards India. This just in; India has received a box of Chinese import shoes in tricolor boxes. Is this China’s move to insult India yet again?

India is clearly enraged as Bishan Bora, a shoe storekeepers in Almora (Uttarakhand) collected a package of imported shoes from China in boxes colored like the Indian flag. According to the shopkeeper, the boxes had letters written in Mandarin inside.

As per Senior Superintendent of Police, Renuka Devi, this is an insulting move and demands an investigation to get to the bottom of it.

Bishan had filed a complaint against Tammana Traders, the shoe supplier in Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) who had sent him the package. On police questioning, it was discovered that Tammana Traders’ owner had purchased the shoes from a distributor in New Delhi.

The police will be questioning the New Delhi dealer, as per a statement by Senior Superintendent of Police, Sadanand Date. Almora’s BJP President, Lalit Latwal has promptly reacted to this and has made it clear that the party workers will be on the case till the culprits are caught.
