Delhi, Noida and Gurugram saw a sudden change in weather in the evening, after days of warning by the Indian weather bureau.
The rain and dust storm brought traffic to a halt on the roads of NCR, while flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport were put on hold, according to news agency ANI. Delhi Metro services, too, were hampered.
