Newborn baby named after Imran Khan as PM visits hospital

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan was met by a surprise while he visited a hospital yesterday, as the parents of a newborn baby decided to name their child after him.

A statement by Khan's party, the Tehreek-e-Insaf read, "Newly born baby named after Imran Khan as Prime Minister pays a surprise visit to Khushab DHQ Hospital."

The prime minister paid surprise visits to multiple hospitals in Sargodha, Khushab and Talagang while accompanied by the Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Dr Zafar Mirza.

The move was made to check up on the services that the hospitals provided, as well as to visit those in the hospital.

Tehreek-e-Insaf said this showed that "the people of Pakistan love their Prime Minister."
