The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Islamabad this evening on a two-day state visit to Pakistan.
On arrival, Amir and accompanying delegation were welcomed at the airport of Noor Khan Air Base, by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Also present at the airport to greet the Amir were Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs Zulfi Bukhari, as well as a number of senior officials, Qatar's Ambassador to Pakistan Saqr bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, Pakistan's Ambassador to Qatar Syed Ahsan Raza Shah and members of the Qatari Embassy.e artillery fired 21 rounds upon the arrival of HH the Amir, on the occasion of the state visit by His Highness.
