Filipino Supervisor Found Dead in His Bahrain Accommodation

A Filipino worker based in Bahrain was discovered lifeless in his accommodation Sunday July 22.

 

AN expatriate worker was found dead in his accommodation in Gudaibiya yesterday.

He was identified as Antonio Baldecanas Abejo who worked as a supervisor with Al Jazeera Cold Store Company. 

According to sources, the 58-year-old Filipino was due to leave Bahrain next week. 

“He was on his final week with the company and was supposed to go back to the Philippines next week,” said a source. 

“He was sharing a room with fellow nationals in a flat in Gudaibiya.

“He didn’t come to work for three days and the television in his room was apparently switched on. 

“One of the flat mates found him dead in his room while attempting to find out what happened to him at around 5pm.”

The cause of death was unknown at the time of print.
