The average American spends thousands on their special day. However meet the well-known political and celebrity figures of our society. Thousands are nothing to these folks. Some of them spent well into the millions to make their special day as beautiful and lavish as possible from inviting high profile political figures to well-known singers including personal security to guard some of these famous actors and actresses the thought of it all is just phenomenal to say the least. 10) Liza Minelli and David Gest Spent $4.3 Million!!

It sure must be nice to have tons of money around and being able to invite whomever you please with no limitations for your wedding day. That is exactly what famous actress and singer Liza Minelli did for her rather pricey event. Some famous people that appeared were the late well-known pop singer Michael Jackson and other familiar figures. The 12 story cake cost nearly $40,000 and the flowers alone were worth $700,000. The special ceremony had more than 500 people on staff for the special day. Talk about lavish. My goodness.
