4. Ma’amoul
Ma’amoul are traditional Middle Eastern pastries that are commonly filled with dates, walnuts, almonds or other ingredients. They are particularly associated with festive occasions and family celebrations and are often prepared when guests are expected.
Although ma’amoul are popular across the Middle East, they are also enjoyed in Oman. Their distinctive shapes and flavorful fillings make them a popular choice for tea-time gatherings and special occasions.
