When 40-knot crosswinds at Bristol Airport England made it extremely difficult for aircrafts to land, the pilot of an airplane pulled of something almost unbelievable. Storm Callum caused a lot of chaos in the country.
The runways were swept by extremely strong winds, making them anything but ideal for landing and take-off. TUI Airways Boeing 757-200 had to land and it landed in a way that was genius, all thanks to the people in the cockpit.
The pilot pulled off a perfect sideways landing. Barring a tiny hiccup when it touched down, the plane landed perfectly on the runway and gradually came to a halt.

The video of the same has gone viral on the internet and people are mighty impressed.
This landing could have been extremely dangerous, but it was probably impossible for the plane to hover in the sky given the weather conditions. Kudos to the pilot for pulling this off.
