Excitement filled people who witnessed Locsin’s Darna when it was announced that she would take the superhero role, but sadly, another news followed in 2015, when Angel herself said to Boy Abunda that she couldn’t continue the project, due to a disc bulge in her spine.
It may sound tragic, but Angel still gave hints to her fans the possibility of flying again. After having her surgery in July, she happily announced that her therapy is ‘encouraging’. Recently, she posted on her Instagram account a photo of her doing a Darna pose after a gym session. Still, we’re hoping for her Darna comeback.
