Aside from controversial relationships, Angel also had controversies as a celebrity.
Earlier, GMA reported that an issue arose between Angel and her manager Becky Aguila in 2005. The cause? – mishandled money. Angel accused her manager of mishandling her money after finding out discrepancies in her finances. Of course, fault finding between the two sides happened. Angel and Becky didn’t speak with each other for more than a year, and the issue reached the courts in 2006. Eventually, they were able to fix the issue, with Angel withdrawing the case.
