There are just some celebrity couples that will make you scratch your head. There are many reasons that couples do not seem to necessarily “go together.” For instance, it could be that one person has a significant amount of money that attracts the other person to them for the wrong reasons. It could be also be the stark physical differences between the two like height, weight, or attractiveness.

Many celebrity couples often have a wide age gap, typically with the man being older than the woman, like with Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris. However, there are a few cases where it is the opposite, like with Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee-Furness. Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have been making headlines with their new, seemingly inappropriate relationship. It is also entirely possible that some of these couples are totally perfect for each other but it just does not appear so from outsiders looking in.

While some of these relationships have long since fizzled out, some of them are still going strong. Many people questioned Mary-Kate Olsen when she married a man nearly twice her age and twice her height, but she and Oliver Sarkozy seem to be living happily ever after with one another.When Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn got together after he had a romantic relationship with her adoptive mother, the public lashed out at the film director. 15. Mary-Kate Olsen And Oliver Sarkozy

The Olsen twins both live very private lives after growing up in the spotlight and nothing has changed since Mary-Kate Olsen got married. She and Oliver Sarkozy are rarely seen in public but it is certainly a sight to see when they are. For starters, Olsen is shorter than Oliver’s daughter, but the height difference between the couple is truly remarkable. Mary-Kate’s husband towers over her at 6’3″, while she is just 5’2″.

On top of that, Oliver is 48 years old and Mary-Kate is just 31. That means that he was in his early twenties while the toddler was starring in her first big acting role on Full House. Despite their various differences, Mary-Kate is said to be “crazy for Oliver.” The two have been happily married for the last two years. Their wedding ceremony was reportedly held in a private residence in New York City and the couple had “bowls of cigarettes” available for their guests.

14. Woody Allen And Soon-Yi Previn

Woody Allen‘s relationship with his third wife Soon-Yi Previn is extremely strange and some would even say creepy. The film director is a whopping 35 years older than Previn. Allen and Previn met while he was dating Mia Farrow in the late 1980s. He and Mia ended up adopting a few children together but Soon-Yi was Mia’s adopted daughter with her ex-husband André Previn.

When news of the relationship between Soon-Yi and Woody went public, they were harshly criticized. The age difference was shocking but what was more outrageous was the fact that he had essentially been dating her mother beforehand. Although, both individuals have claimed that they never had a father-daughter relationship with one another prior to engaging in a romantic one. The couple has been married since 1997 and has adopted two children together.

13. Salma Hayek And Francois-Henri Pinault

Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko have been together, on and off, since 2008 after meeting at a book launch party. They are currently engaged and have one daughter together. The actress and the boxer make for a strikingly odd pairing, physically speaking. Klitschko towers over Panettiere at over 6’6″, while the mother of one is just barely five feet.

Hayden is also considerably younger than Wladimir, who is 41 years old, which would make them 13 years apart in age. The Heroes actress is often spotted at the former heavyweight world champion’s fights. However, their busy schedules almost tore them apart but they managed to work things out and got back together in 2013. After giving birth to her daughter, Hayden suffered from postpartum depression but she recovered and the couple remains strong.
