Quite direct, I know. But, you do need to make sure of these before you jump into a spur-of-the-moment action. Carelessness can leave you with a life-long ailment that can't just be shaken off by an 'it was just a mistake.'
Don't rush in and you might save you and your partner from a grave mistake. If they're compatible with you, they'll understand.
Are you being treated for any infectious disease?
Any medical condition, as I've mentioned above, must be out in the open for the precautionary purposes. Be it a viral cough or an STD - you must come clean before you engage in the sexual activities.
I know asking these questions at that point in time seem interrogative, but you can break the ice by sharing your side before asking them.
What are your major turn-ons and turn-offs?
Definitely asking this during, or before, the intercourse can re-assure your partner that you care about their needs as well, and will surely leave a mark of better experience.
