Apple Cider Vinegar To Get Rid Of Skin Tags

Medically known as Acrochorda, skin tags are small skin growths that occur due to friction or rubbing. Neck, face, chest, armpits, and around the groin are the most common areas where these occur.

Often, skin tags are considered harmless. But in specific cases, they might be an indication of something serious and might need immediate medical diagnosis.

No doubt, any foreign body is an obstruction. Especially when it’s a growth of or on the skin, we understand how annoying it can be. As stated by Dr. Doug Willen, there is an easy step to get rid of skin tags, and you can do it in the comfort of your home.

Apple Cider Vinegar
An ingredient that cannot be replaced by anything else in your kitchen, apple cider vinegar is effective in removing not just skin tags but also moles and acne.

Directions

  • Clean the affected area properly with soap and water.
  • Pat dry the skin with a hand towel.
  • Soak the cotton ball in the vinegar.
  • Squeeze it to remove excessive vinegar.
  • Apply the soaked cotton on your skin tags.
  • Repeat this process 2–3 times a day.

Squeeze the cotton ball over the skin tag so that the latter is nicely saturated with the vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is acidic in nature, so be prepared for a mild itching or burning sensation. If the itching is beyond your threshold of pain, then consider diluting the vinegar with a few drops of water.

The skin tag will gradually lose its color and fall off. Generally, this takes around a week; however, this further depends on the size and type of the skin tag. Be patient!
