Not so long ago, a woman in Brazil was shocked when she went to donate blood. Namely, the tests she was exposed to revealed that she was HIV positive.
The odd thing was that she knew that it is impossible for her to have gotten the virus through sexual intercourse as she had not have one and she had not used any drugs as well.
Then she realized that she was infected after a manicure because she used the same utensils for nails as her cousin, who is HIV positive.
We all know that the HIV virus cannot be spread through air or by touch, but only through contact with wounds and blood. However, this rare case has showed us that we need to be very careful and avoid sharing personal hygiene kits with other people.
