We’ve all put off going to the doctor at some point. Whether you’ve ignored a cold for a few days or pretended you’re not injured for weeks, we’ve all tried to just “tough it out” to avoid making a dreaded doctor’s appointment.
That being said, most of us will suck it up and go to the doctor when things start to get serious or last for too long a time.
Well, one woman, known only as “Ms. Xu,” did not go to the doctor when her eyes started itching like crazy. For two years, she dealt with red, itchy eyes before finally going to an eye doctor.
And when she finally did make an appointment, doctors were astounded by the number of eyelash mites they found taking up residence on Ms. Xu’s eyes.
It took doctors a while to find out exactly how Ms. Xu had gotten so many eyelash mites, but they finally learned it was because she hadn’t washed her sheets in five years.
The woman known as “Ms. Xu” lives in the Hubei province of central China.
After dealing with itchy, red eyes for two years, Ms. Xu decided to finally go to the doctor.
