Naval Blockade and Maritime Superiority

The US military successfully implemented the blockade on Iranian ports. CENTCOM head Brad Cooper said the US halted all Iranian sea trade. Forces prevented six commercial vessels from leaving ports recently.

Navy officials currently watch ships leave Iranian facilities. They intercept these vessels after they clear the Strait of Hormuz. US forces now claim total maritime superiority in the Middle East.

In Iraq, a rogue drone killed an Iranian Kurdish woman. The exiled Komala party blamed Iran and its militias for the strike.

Demand for Nuclear Verification

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi demanded strict verification measures. He wants detailed inspections for any potential US-Iran agreement. Grossi warned that an agreement without inspections is just an illusion.

Vice President JD Vance offered a "grand bargain" to Tehran. He promised that the United States would help Iran thrive. However, Iran must first commit to a non-nuclear future.

Regional Diplomacy and Economic Shifts

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif began a four-day diplomatic tour. He will visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey this week. Pakistan's leadership refuses to give up on peace negotiations.

Oil prices fell as traders bet on successful diplomacy. Brent crude dropped to $95 per barrel today. Meanwhile, Russia offered to supply China with extra energy resources.

China promised countermeasures against new American tariff threats. Officials denied reports that China provided weapons to Iran.
