Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested an unidentified Saudi who was wanted by law in 15 different cases about armed robberies, money extortion, rape, abduction and others, reports Al-Rai daily.
When police, acting on a tip-off and armed with an arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, went to arrest the man in his home, he resisted violently and attempted to assault the police, but he was overpowered, handcuffed and taken to the police station. A security source told the daily the suspect was on the run for the past six months.
