‘Ya Latif’ at Elmarsa Gallery
Khaled Ben Slimane, a Tunisian artist, applies Arabic calligraphy to a variety of mediums including canvas, paper and ceramics. His work took on a Japanese influence after his exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of Art in 1982, where he had the chance to work with Japanese masters. Since then, his already expressive works of art have taken on a unique style and character.
