6 Hemlock
Hemlock has been present from the time of Greeks and used as a weapon to kill people. Hemlock or conium is a plant or a toxic plant which is found in South Africa and Europe. Only 8 leaves of this deadly plant are enough to cause unconsciousness and ultimate death. It was used to kill classical Greek philosopher, Socrates.
Socrates was supposed to drink the poison by his own hands and this moment is captured in history in form of a painting where Socrates is surrounded by his companions until he died. This poison is also used to kill detainees. Its effects are slow and kills a person first by paralyzing the body where brain works fine but body movements are affected causing a slow death.
