Gloria Diaz
Ms. Gloria Diaz is the first Filipina who won the Miss Universe 1969 crown. The 18 year-old Diaz gave a brilliant answer during the Q&A on how she would welcome the first men who landed on the moon when they get back to Earth.
Ms. Diaz pursued her acting career, as she worked with the three biggest TV networks in the Philippines. Ms. Diaz starred as Nenita Viray-Javier on her latest TV show, Dream Dad (2014).

Pilar Pilapil
Did you know that this great veteran actress we have was also a Bb. Pilipinas during her day? Ms. Pilar Pilapil won the national crown in 1967 and went to compete for the Miss Universe in 1967.
Just like Ms. Diaz, she continues to show her God-given acting skills in her movies. She starred as Maria Eduvina Suarez in Passion de Amor and she was awarded as a Best Supporting Actress in her latest movie Etiquette for Mistresses on April 14, 2016.
