3. Jennifer Lawrence – Humiliated Reporter
Sometimes, these sweethearts try so hard to be liked. They campaign to the point of exhaustion to get an award. But then, once it’s in their hands, they drop the sweetheart act like a hot potato. Jennifer Lawrence is another one of those phony sweeties. She butters up directors and producers, but her true colors show through when she’s talking to those who she deems lower than herself. Remember when she told off a reporter? “You can’t live behind your phone, bro,” she quipped, “You gotta live up here, in the now.” The comment was met with awkward laughter. The thing is, it was the foreign press. The guy could barely speak English and surely had his question for her written on his phone. Did Jen even consider his point of view for a moment? Nope. It’s all about her. But she may be right about one thing. “Everybody is very fickle,” she says, “They like me now, but I’m going to get really annoying really fast. Just watch.”
2. Natalie Portman – “Harvarding” On The Set
Natalie Portman has been in the Hollywood spotlight since she was a kid. We watched her grow up so, of course, she’s a sweetheart. She was in the Star Wars prequels, which gave her instant fame, but she was already famous before that. And after all that publicity, it’s hard to be as down to earth as she claims she is. Some reports have stated that she was downright rude on the set of Jane Got a Gun. She was constantly “Harvarding,” or over-intellectualizing every detail until it leads to a condescending insult. Allegedly, she was pissed during the entire film since a handful of A-list actors dropped out of the film. The star has even admitted to being a “scheming b*tch.” Let’s not forget her Oscar winning performance in Black Swan. Her body double did a ton of difficult dancing and was never mentioned.
1. Julia Roberts – Bullied Her Sister To Death
The accusations get pretty serious on this one. Sure, we’ve heard of actresses and pop stars who have thrown shade, been obsessed with themselves, or even been snippy to the press. But, Julia Roberts took it to the next level. The star, made famous by such iconic roles as Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovich, has been treated like Hollywood royalty for years. But her past is not so sweet. Reports claim that she verbally abused her half sister, Nancy Motes, in the meanest of ways. She ridiculed everything from her appearance and fat shaming her, to her relatively unsuccessful career. All of which led to Nancy’s suicide. And it gets worse. In the suicide note, Nancy wrote, “My mother and so-called ‘siblings’ get nothing except the memory that they are the ones that drove me into the deepest depression I’ve ever been in.” Yikes! Nancy’s fiance, John Dilbeck, said, “If Nancy hadn’t been Julia Roberts’ kid sister, I believe she would still be alive.”
