The story of the rich not paying their taxes is a common tale but when it happens to the children of President elect, we pay attention. It turns out that Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump have been named defendants of a $250-million tax evasion case. Whether Trump has paid his taxes has been a hot topic throughout the election campaign but it will be interesting to see how this case turns out now that he is President-Elect and the most powerful man in America. Reports say the investigation will continue but whether the investigation will be influenced by nepotism is debatable. Will Trump get his kids out of the hot water with his new power? Most likely. Will we hear about the outcome of this so-called scandal? Probably not. How people with millions of dollars avoid paying their bills continues to surprise me.
